Question about English (US)

How do you say this in English (US)?
I've read several times that saying "Talk in English" is wrong. It has to be "Speak in English" instead, but I've heard native speakers say "talk in English"

So the question is:

is it acceptable to say "talk in English"?

Example:

I don't understand. Talk in English.
