- Polish
The first expression can be literally translated: "I only" and means: "I'm only doing this very thing, not having intension of doing much more".
"Ja tylko chciałem zapytać o cenę" - I wanted only to ask for the price, not to buy this.
The second one can be literally translated: "to say it simple/straight" or "in a simple way".
"Po prostu daj mi to" = just (to say it straight) give me this
In most cases both of them are translated to english as "just", but as you see in polish there's difference.
