Question about English (US)
I was told by a native speaker that the "diverse aspects" part in the sentence below, would be better to change, but he couldn't come up with alternative words when we spoke.
Does anyone have any idea??
Learning about diverse aspects of the world by diving into why humans are fighting, and analysing the root causes of conflicts with students from different nationalities and backgrounds, are essential to truly understand these things (cultures, religions, political systems, and so on).

I commented on at least one other post of yours today, and I would say based on the questions you are asking and that your writing is very close to what most American students will get to University with, and from what I've read of your writing samples I would assume you had near native proficiency based on your choice of words, If the rest of your essay is this clean or if you are writing this well without many corrections, I would suggest you actually start using resources intended to help native English speaking college students improve their essays. There are many strategies and tips for native English speakers to elevate their writing since many native speakers won't be used to or very skilled at writing in a formal way.
(And obviously keep posting for corrections so we can all help more).
Let me know if that makes sense and is helpful.

The sentence is long, therefore it is better to begin with your topic and follow it with the examples.
To truly understand these things (cultures, religions, political systems, and so on), it is essential to learn about the diverse aspects of the world by diving into the reasons why humans fight one another, and to analyze the root causes of conflict by discussing them with students from different nationalities and backgrounds.
I have no problem with "diverse aspects". I think it is a good phrase for this sentence. If you want to replace it, try "different perspectives".

It'd be somewhat formal but you could say "various facets" or less formal "different facets". The second I would choose for speaking, and the first only in formal speech or writing. I think that might be the best synonym here.

@mahifish Oh wow, I'm so happy you said that. I don't think my writing skill is nowhere near the level of native students, but what you kindly said to me got me feel confident and is definitely helpful to further improve my writing. I will look for materials written for native students and, of course, keep posting for seeking help from kind people like you. Anyway, thank you very much for your comment!

@esperanca0923 My pleasure! I can see a few minor mistakes in your spontaneous writing, which is not surprising, truly. If you are able to understand and start using some of those writing tips, you will be well on your way!
