There are two meanings of the “anxious”. One is as something worried, another is as something to be eager. Two meanings is completely opposite and does anyone use the latter meaning? I always use the former meaning.

They are not 100% completely opposite. You might be eager to do something, so eagerthat you are filled with anxious energy - nervous and unable to sit still. The two ideas are closely connected.
Most Americans don’t use anxious to mean eager, in my experience - they prefer to say that they are keen or up for it – but you will hear it a lot in Great Britain.
