「朝、雨が降っていなかったので、傘は持って外出しなかった」と「朝、雨が降っていなかったので、傘は持たずに外出してしまった」のニュアンスを教えていただけると幸いです。宜しくお願いします。

単に「傘を持って外出しなかった事の結果」を述べているのに対し
②は、「外出【してしまった】」なので
この場合は『持って外出した方が良かった』などの後悔のニュアンスもあります。
例えば…
①は誰かに『今日、傘持ってきた?』と聞かれて
朝の天気では傘の必要がなかったので『持って外出しなかった』と言う返答。
②は、
朝の天気では傘の必要はなかったが、これから雨が降る可能性があるなど、『持って来た方が良かった』と言うニュアンスにもつながります。
例えば…『朝は雨が降っていなかったが、午後から雨が降ると知り『雨が降ると思っていなかったから、傘を持たずに外出してしまった』

同じ意味と考えていいと思います。
前者の文でも、「外出しなかった」という意味でとられることはないと思います。

「外出しなかった」は、自分でそう意図したというニュアンスが
「外出してしまった」は、うっかりそうしてしまったというニュアンスがあると思います
人によって感じ方は違うと思いますが…
それだけ両者は似た意味であるということだと思います

個人的には、使われる頻度は、前者の方が高いように思います。自然さでいえば、どちらも同じくらいです。
ただ、「傘を持って外出しなかった」「傘を持たずに外出してしまった」の方が、もっと自然だと思います。

前者の文は完結していますが、後者の文は、その後雨が振ってきて大変な目にあったような文章が続きそうですね。
