Hello !
I’m often late to my japanese class and i would like to know how to say « Good evening sorry for being late » in a polite way.
Please note that my class are around 6pm so that’s why i used good evening.

こんばんは、遅れてすみません
konbanwa, okurete sumimasen

La traduction littérale est "こんばんは。遅刻してすみません". C'est bien, mais lorsque vous entrez dans une classe, "こんばんは" peut sembler un peu étrange. "失礼します。遅刻してすみません" est probablement mieux.
Si l'atmosphère de la classe est sympathique, comme un salon de chatting, "こんばんは" peut être un bon choix.
