Question about English (US)

I've been taught :
to ring someone - British English
to call someone - American English

then, how should I rephrase "I'm gonna ring off now" in American English?(meaning, finishing a phone call)

I usually just say "I'm gonna go" with friends, but id rather want to know the exact counterpart expression of "to ring off".....
