It is something a doctor might say, colloquially.
It means that the person has "fixed" the patient, i.e. bandaged the wound or applied a cast to a broken leg so that they will heal.

In the case you are talking about (getting something for someone), it is VERY colloquial / slangy. I don't really think it's something you would want to use, for that reason.
As for the meaning, in this context it would be roughly equivalent to "here, we got something for you".
