When my late grandmother reached her late 80's, she would often say that she wished she would just not wake up the next morning because it would be the easiest and most peaceful way to bid farewell to this world with the least trouble to her family. Does this sound natural?

Natural
It sounds natural but that is a very very very long sentence. Maybe make into 2 sentences.

Thank you for the advice.
How about this 2-sentence version?
"When my late grandmother reached her late 80's, she would often say that she wished she would just not wake up the next morning. Since she hated so much to cause trouble to her family, obviously she thought it would be the easiest and most peaceful way to bid farewell to this world."

Natural
"So much" sounds unneeded. "Since she hated causing trouble to her family, it was obvious she thought..." Would be best I think.
