No big difference other than “my shoes got wet” notes that there was something that made this happen. Like, “I stepped into a puddle and my shoes got wet.”
“My shoes are wet” is moreso a general statement. Just observing the fact that your shoes are currently wet.

@whimsicalcactus so basically my shoes needs to get wet to say my shoes are wet? i mean one is used before the event happened and the other one is the present so to speak?
