I'm assuming you mean essentially control of the class. I could be wrong here.
"I have charge of the class" really doesn't sound natural - I don't think it really works here
"I have the charge of the class" could work, I suppose, but also sounds a bit awkward.
It seems like you're trying to say "I am in charge of the class," which is how a native speaker would say it.
