@christiangrane943 ήθος is like a more poetic way to talk about manners and we use presence or absence of ήθος (έχει/δεν έχει- ήθος) to talk about good and bad manners respectively. In everyday conversations however you would mostly use "τρόποι" = manners (lit. ways) or an adjective like "ευγενικός" = polite and "αγενής" = impolite.
Δεν έχει καθόλου τρόπους. = He/she has no manners.
Έχει καλούς/κακούς τρόπους = He/she has good/bad manners.
Είναι ευγενικός/αγενής = He/she is polite/impolite
You can use "ήθος" to add emphasis/depth to what you're saying, like when describing a historical figure or when talking about someone you respect/admire for his actions/manners.

In singular, "ήθος" means "character" as in someone's behavior and manners.
In plural it means the general or accepted way a group of people (a society) act. Best translation I can think of is something like "ways/habits/social trends".
You will often hear it as "ήθη και έθιμα" when talking about the customs and accepted/usual behavior of a society/civilization.
Τα ήθη και έθιμα του ελληνικού λαού. = The ways/habits and customs of the Greek people.
