“There is a lot of sugar in my cup of tea.” is the only one that is grammatically correct

@oguz44 the word ‘sugar’ is uncountable. You can use ‘little’ or ‘a lot of’ expressing the amount of uncountable things.

@oguz44 we treat sugar as a singular noun, not as a group of sugar particles, so saying “a few sugar” doesn’t make sense. if we were talking sugar packets, that’s plural, and then you could say “I put a few sugar packets in my cup of tea”, “I put many sugar packets in my cup of tea”, AND “I put a lot of sugar packets in my cup of tea.” They all make sense. Note a few is normally ~ 3-4 in quantity, and many is 5++
