I don't know what "down bad" is and if "for myself" is necessary.

🤭 "Down bad" is slang that usually means you are desperate for someone romantically. If you have a crush and you pay for their bills but aren't dating, someone might say "you're down bad for ____." If you're so down bad you spend all day in bed, it sounds like you spent all day pleasing yourself.
But it seems like it might be misused in this sentence, like someone is using it to mean "depressed"
