Question about German

Is there an accent that most Germans despise a bit more than other accents? For example, an accent from Bavaria, or someplace in Austria, or Munich? I want to learn German, teach myself. And then travel to Germany but I would like to learn German from natives in a place that have a more inviting accent or tone. Is this a thing in Germany that German people care about?
