Could you give me more context? What does IT refer to? That may determine if “no go” is okay here. “No go” isn’t an idiom I recognize.

I wouldn’t use it is a huge no go for me here. A huge no go for me is also used when you want to like exaggerate so in this case might not be appropriate.

In the question about the script that you're turning down, you *could* use no-go, but it would have to be in a very casual manner:
"Um, sorry but it's a no-go on the script."
or, it's sister variation, "no-can-do":
"Sorry, but that would be a no-can-do on writing the script."
