Question about English (US)
Please check and correct the grammar.!!!!!
I helped with my relative's Chinese restaurant which takes 10 minutes by my bicycle from my house. I worked there for 2 hours and gained 2,000 yen as salary. There were few customers than usual. I thought they were reluctant to go out in the intence heat and they wanted to stay inside in cool room. So, I was bored and went home earlier than usual.

I helped out at my relative's Chinese restaurant, which is ten minutes from my house by bicycle. I worked there for two hours and earned 2,000 yen. There were fewer customers than usual at the restaurant today. I thought they were reluctant to go out in the intense heat and they wanted to stay indoors in a cool room. Because business was slow, I was bored and went home earlier than usual.
Notes:
- I changed "which takes" to "which is". You can say "X is ten minutes from my house", or "It takes ten minutes to get to X from my house". I thought the first way sounded better in this paragraph.
- We usually say we earned a salary instead of gaining it
- There are fewer than usual- when we compare things, we say "fewer X than Y", not "few X than Y"
- I changed the spelling of "intense"
- I changed "inside" to "indoors" because it is more precise
- I added "a" before "cool room"
- I changed "so" to repeat the reason because it's talking about business, not about the heat or the cool room.

I would change a few small details!
“I helped with my relative's Chinese restaurant which takes about 10 minutes by bicycle from my house. I worked there for 2 hours and earned 2,000 yen as a salary. There were fewer/less customers than usual. I thought they were probably reluctant to go out in the intense heat and they wanted to stay inside a cool room. So, I was bored and went home earlier than usual.”
