What is the difference between a motorized wheelchair and a motor wheelchair ?Feel free to just provide example sentences.

Same thing, motorized just means it’s something with a motor, and a motor wheelchair is obviously a wheelchair with a motor. But I’d think that you should say motorized wheelchair because motor wheelchair sounds un-natural .

@cactusjacoob Oh got it! Thank you very much.

Is motorized vehicle more natural than motor vehicle?
Is motorized vehicle more natural than motor vehicle?

@hmj they both work. Most of the time you call a vehicle a car. No one really acknowledges if a vehicle is motorized.
- English (US)
@hmj also depending on what kind of vehicle it is you call it a car. A vehicle is anything that transports someone or something. I apologize for not adding that. There are many things that are labeled as a vehicle , bikes, scooters, cars, carts, airplanes, etc.
- Simplified Chinese (China)
@cactusjacoob Got it! But I have a little confused. for example:
1. A motor scooter is a motor vehicle.
2. A motor scooter is a motorized vehicle.
Which sentence is correct? or you don't use "vehicle" in the sentence, what else word you would use to instead of it?

@hmj #2 is more correct. But also know that in the US and other English speaking areas we just call a motorized scooter a scooter, whether or not it has a motor. Same with bicycles. Also many things can be called a vehicle.
- Simplified Chinese (China)
@cactusjacoob Is this scooter a motorized scooter, not a motor scooter?

- English (US)
@hmj yes it is a motor scooter because it can speed up without any strenuous actions needed by the user.
- Simplified Chinese (China)
@cactusjacoob Don't you call it a motorized scooter? Because I am a little confused about "motorized" and "motor".

@cactusjacoob What do you call this scooter? a motor scooter or a motorized scooter? it's a little different from the previous one.

- English (US)
@hmj in america we call that vehicle a moped (moh-peh-d) or a bike.
- Simplified Chinese (China)
@cactusjacoob Oh, You taught me a new word. And what do you call this vehicle?

- English (US)
- Simplified Chinese (China)
@cactusjacoob Got it! What do you call this vehicle? It is a little different from the previous one that you called moped. Because the new one has no muffler and the drivetrain is fully electric.

- English (US)
@hmj you could still call it a moped, or if you want you can call it an electric moped. Whether or not it is ran on gas or electricity, you’d still call it a moped
- Simplified Chinese (China)
@cactusjacoob Oh i see. I always called these motor scooters before. And what do you call this vehicle?

- English (US)
@hmj that’s a interesting vehicle, we don’t see many bikes with engines on them. Mostly in American cities you can rent an electric bike to ride around the city and when you’re finished end the ride on your phone and pay. Eventually someone will pick it up and charge it. All of those bikes are electric so we call them a bike or electric bike. That bike has an engine so you could call it a motorcycle if you really wanted to. But I’d just call that a bike.

@cactusjacoob Thanks for your answer! You taught me a new expression as well. Because I always thought a vehicle with a footrest should be called a scooter. So I called them like this in the image before. but now I know I am wrong.

@hmj good job! Im glad I could teach you some new terms and help you better your understandings of English!
