The problem is you have only one day instead of every day.
The meaning is unclear. Is this perhaps an idiom?

@NerdChieftain hi. Thank you for your reply. I want to say that we need to practice every day to improve ourselves in chess, but because of my friend's work, it is only possible once a week. I wanted to say this. How can I correct my sentence in a natural way?

@janehuik I want to practice every day, but you are only available once a week.
Edit: missing word

“We really need to do this every day. Unfortunately we only have one day a week.”
I’m unsure what you would like to say for the second part?
Are you asking your friend if he/she has more availability or keep it the way it is?
“Is this ok for you or do you have more time?”
“Do you have more/additional availability or is this ok for you?”

@acro_popps hiii. Thank you so much for correcting me!! I wanted to ask her if she was available for this..

I suggest:
“We really need to do this every day. It is unfortunate that we only do it once a week. Are you available more often?”
