Question about French (France)

How do you say this in French (France)? It's not about translation but why do we say: Venez-vous du Sénégal?
but: Venez-vous de France ?

Shouldn't be "de la France" if with Senegal we have du (de+le)

Probably the answer is somehow obvious, I just can't see it right now 😁
