Japan does not offer legal recognition to same-sex marriage. The disadvantage is they aren't considered they're family, so if your partner got sick and before he gets some surgery, the doctor can't explain about it to you because you're not his legal partner.
日本では同性婚は認められてません。
LGBTの結婚が認められないデメリットは、家族扱いされない。だからもし貴方のパートナーが病気になって手術する時に、法律上の家族じゃないから医者からの話を聞けない。
