Basically, we learned Malay and English in government schools. In Islamic religious schools, students learn Arabic. In Chinese and Tamil schools, students learn Mandarin and Tamil respectively. In some schools, students even have the option to learn up to 3 languages. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
