Question about English (US)

“For the first time in my life , I don’t feel like failure . I feel like me .”
This is the phrase from Marvel’s Spider-Man. I checked Japanese version ,and Ithat’s says this phrase means “I feel like failure”. But how is it this meaning ?

I’m sorry for my influent English .

For the first time in my life , I don’t feel like failure . I feel like me.
マーベルズスパイダーマンで出てきた言葉です。日本語版では「私はずっと自分を落ちこぼれだ思ってた」訳されていました。なぜこの訳になるのでしょうか?
