"ni" may have several meanings depending on the context, but always as a negative statement:
- ¡Ni hablar! -> No way!
- No me casaría con ella ni aunque fuera la última mujer en la Tierra -> I wouldn't marry her, not even if she was the last woman on Earth
- Ni ahora, ni nunca -> Neither now nor ever
- Q: ¿Acerté? -> Did I get it right?
- A: Ni cerca -> Not even close
