People doesn't really see Italians here and knowledge is really limited. Language is mainly studied by retirees that are looking for the sun and girls who have Italian boyfriends. Italian girls have reputation of being beautiful but hard to get and hard to keep.

I think they're smart, tough mountaineers and great skiers. I suspect this stereotype might be somewhat heavily influenced by having dealt with Italian women almost exclusively around the Mont Blanc / Chamonix / Courmayeur area.

I heard that the italian stereotype about italian girls or women in general is that they are very pressing and jelous of their boyfriend! I never heard that they are hard to get and keep, how curious!!😱
