Cute or adorable is definitely more relatable to dogs/cats/animals. Like when you say a boy is “cute”, a lot of times you can say “oh he’s so cute, like puppy-dog cute”. Cute and adorable are more interchangeable.
Lovely is harder to describe.
The flowers are lovely. Meeting you today was lovely. It was lovely having a chat today. It was lovely seeing you today. She has a lovely personality. What a lovely day today is.
Lovely feels more “sophisticated” than cute/adorable.

Maybe you could say…
“That cat is so cute!”
“My daughter is so adorable!”
“You are so lovely!”
But they’re all about the same and all of them be used to replace the other word.
Hope this helped, Thank you for your interest in English and good luck learning!!
