Question about English (US)
What does <A one-way mirror seems to be a mirror when seen from one side, but as a window when seen from the opposite side.>
In this sentence where is the 'as' connected to?
I thought 'seems as a window' but there is no usage like this in a dictionary. Help me~
mean?

As is being used to connect how things are seen: as a mirror from one side, and as a window on the other.
I am not sure how else to answer that other than the answers I gave. 🙂

@khini74 "but seen as a window from the opposite side" would be a better sentence. They are using "as" to compare what is seen: a mirror and a window
