I assume you're referring to COVID restrictions. I've linked the government travel page below for the sake of accuracy. Travel is allowed as long as you meet the requirements on the website. You can switch it to French in the top right corner of the page.
We are the second largest country in terms of land area. You're only going to see a tiny portion of it in one trip. Some research and thought about what you want to see and do is a must. That will also be determined by the season. You won't be going skiing in the summer or sailing in the winter. Planning ground travel is essential if you want to use your time wisely. You will most likely be traveling big distances. Public transit is ok in major cities, but pretty much non existent outside of them. Renting a car might be the solution which means some research into drivers licenses from other countries.
