-ํ๊ณ ์๋ค
it feels like listener imagine acting you are doing something and natural flow of sentence because there is just verb and words from old korean.
-ํ๋ ์ค์ด๋ค
it's formal and written style more than -ํ๊ณ ์๋ค because there is ์ค is words from old chinise(it feels like old latin to korean) and listener feels they are at the moment(the time what you are doing) or static state.
and just think -ํ๊ณ ์๋ค(verb of end of sentence) in 'ํ๋ ์ค(similar to 'the verb to noun')
-ํ๊ณ ์๋ค sentence 1 like she is running
-ํ๋ ์ค์ด๋ค is 'sentence 1+(๋) ์ค์ด๋ค' like she is being running.(it's just example for understanding, it's more similar to -ํ๊ณ ์๋ ์ค์ด๋ค in korean)
ex.

- English (UK)
- Korean Near fluent
Although both are translated into ~ing verbs, it'll be better if you try to understand their literal meanings. ~๊ณ ์๋ค simply used to make progressive verbs whereas ~๋ ์ค์ด๋ค means to be 'in the middle of doing something' or 'in the process'.
The only difference that I noticed is that ~๋ ์ค์ด๋ค is not used with natural phenomenons like raining or snowing. Because the verb for 'to rain'(๋น๊ฐ ์ค๊ฐ/๋ด๋ฆฌ๋ค) in Korean literally means 'rain is coming down or pouring' so the verb used is not 'to rain' but 'to come'.
And it won't sound natural to say that the rain is in the middle of coming down. Same goes for snowing.
๋์ด ์ค๊ณ ์์ด์.(correct)
๋์ด ์ค๋ ์ค์ด์์.(incorrect)
