Ping-pong is probably more common. But they’re both used almost the same amount.

There are different regions in America and in some regions, more people may say "table tennis" and others may say "ping pong", both are OK and mean the same thing! :) hope this helps!

I never say table tennis (US based, southern california, native speaker)
but if someone ELSE says it, i know what they mean.
