Have you heard this saying?
I knew its meaning, but I wonder if Mr. Maugham meant a negartive aspect of human nature or a positive one. What do you think?
1. Don't be snobbish. Just be yourself.
2. Try to look like a person you want to be. You'll finally become the person.
