さん is put generally and commonly to entire honorifics with no trouble for standard.
くん is put especially to boys and boyfriends' nicknames.
Sometimes male bosses have a case to put ladies if they're their subordinates.
ちゃん is put to girls and couple relationships of nicknames.
さま is used to call them as polite honorifics especially among business and public scenes.
EX：
Lettieさん means Miss or Mrs Lettie.
Lettieくん means Your boss calles you as a subordinate.
Lettieちゃん emphasizes kind a nickname to impress prettier expression.
Lettie さま emphasizes Load.Lettie

さん→最も一般的な敬称です。
くん→同輩か目下に対して使います。女性にも使いますが、最近は男性に使うことが多いです。
ちゃん→親しみを込めた言い方です。子供に使うことが多いです。度々、若い女性に使われる事がありますが、避けた方が無難です。
さま→相手を尊敬しているニュアンスが出ます。

歴史的・文化的背景があるので、何をいつどのように使うのが適切なのかは、経験で覚えるしかないと思います💦
目上・目下という概念がある以上、差別問題が絡みますし。
でも、とりあえずは「さん」を使えば問題ないと思います😊
