The word bear (not the animal) means to carry - kind of oldish English, generally found in fixed expressions (but there are quite a few, important ones include childbearing, load bearing, bearing arms, I can't bear to see it, etc)
The phrase you have is completely correct, if perhaps a bit literary-sounding. Still, it could be used as a stylistic choice and would be completely understood by a native speaker.
More common options: he says he's not angry at me anymore, he's not holding a grudge, it's all good between us, etc...
