Question about English (UK)
Is it offensive or outdated to call someone "sweetheart" or "honey" or else?
Are they exclusive to females?
Is it really ok to call people so when you're not a couple?

It’s both offensive and outdated.
I’m old enough to remember when men used to call women these names all the time, whether they knew them or not. It’s a really bad vibe. Not something that you want to repeat!
When it comes to cute names and things like that, if you’re not 110% sure that the person you’re speaking to is going to like it, don’t say it. Just don’t say it.
Because here is a fact of life that you can bet money on – if you call a woman a name that she doesn’t like, she will never ever ever ever ever forget it. NEVER.
