@yoyov51234 in everyday use, there is no difference in meaning. “but they sound like fun to visit” sounds a little more colloquial and softer in tone.
technically, “they sound like fun to visit” is a little less certain and more hypothetical. it’s kind of like saying, “they sound like they might be fun to visit.” “they sound fun to visit” is a little more definite
