You must've got it wrong somehow, such a word doesn't exist in Polish. I can't even come up with any Polish word that would sound similar to "awake". Where did you see or hear it?

@ipronewcel I thought I was fluent in Polish but I'm no longer so sure, every day brings something new. I have no clue what it is, so looks like we both are now waiting for some information.

maybe some invented word? i couldn't find any reference in context.reverso.net either... strange . He already has a song named Pastempomat, such a word is a combination of other words according to what i read

Lo solo me asocia con la palabra latina "ave", que un poco posee sentido, porque "ave" significa alguno así "quierida", al menos en una oración en latino. En este caso "awejniak" sería una persona que adora otra persona, supongo. Pero no estoy seguro, creo que mi declaración no posee nada sentido xD, pero espero que es ayudable y algo cierto.

This word is Podsiadło's private neologism. In awejniak [əʊəjnjak] you can hear echo of 'AWAY' taken from English and 'NIAK' which is one of the Polish suffixes used to create descriptive names ('being of some quality/quantity/function') - similar to English -ER (eg. teach-ER, join-ER, ). In this situation, it means 'somebody that is AWAY but also somebody dis- or mis-placed'. It is not a real word, it is just made up by Podsiadło and nobody else uses it.
