삼가 고인의 명복을 빕니다 is one of the most commmon expressions that we use when someone passes away. But it's usually used for writing and it can sound too formal among close friends and coworkers. I would say 어머님이 돌아가셨다니 저도 마음이 너무 아프네요. 제가 도와드릴 게 있으면 언제든지 편하게 말씀해 주세요.
