There's something similar, though not as explicit, in Dutch:
* Je moet je neus niet in andermans
zaken steken.
-lit: You shouldn't stick your nose into
other people's business.
Whereas the English expression explicitely predicts the negative consequences of being over-curious, the Dutch expression is more vague.
It doesn't tell you whether you shouldn't be too curious because of social conventions or because of possible negative consequences.
