They both mean the same thing, it differs on the usage of the word. you can say:
I feel drowsy and I feel sleepy.
but you can't say:
This medicine causes sleepiness.
it should be:
This medicine causes drowsiness.

@x_zrii ok, either be medicine or not, can I use sleepy or drowsy? The same? In any occasion? But drowsiness only is used for both when it is a noun?
