Question about English (US)
Please tell me about how to use “of”.
For example, if you want to describe your organization.
Suppose there is the following statement in a conversation:
“I belong to the D team of the C section of the B division of the A company.”
In this case, I think it difficult to understand because you have to listen the word A company while remembering information such as D team and C section.
Is there a better way to say it?

Here's one idea:
"I belong to the D team at A company, which is in the C section of the B division."
Honestly, you could probably just say "the D team at A company" and the listeners will be able to imagine what division/section of the company it falls under.
I don't see why it would be important to identify yourself that extensively in the first place.

Thank you for your answer.
The reason I asked this question is because I was wondering how to explain hierarchical structure in English.
In the case of Japanese, it is explained from the upper hierarchy, but in the case of English, it is explained from the lower hierarchy, so I thought it was difficult to understand.

If you wanted to include all the parts, and keep the "bottom-up" order, you could maybe say:
"I'm on the D team in the C section of the B division at A company."
That way, it has no repeated prepositions and is easy to follow.

I understood about your Input learning method.
I want to become good at English conversation.
So please tell me, how did you become able to listen to Japanese?
Have you watched the same Japanese video over and over again?

>Have you watched the same Japanese video over and over again?
No, that's more-or-less the opposite of what I did.
There have actually been studies done on learning a new language (that I only found out about after I had already mastered Japanese) that show that it's more effective to hear the new vocabulary in DIFFERENT contexts.
I watched a lot of different TV shows (anime at first, and also subtitled at first) and very gradually trained my ear to be able to understand Japanese without subtitles. It took a year or two for that to happen.
In order to understand what you hear, you also have to already know a large percentage of the vocabulary being used. Any word that you don't know will sound like nothing but noise, no matter how many times you hear it.
Aside from that, it doesn't hurt to memorize lines you hear in TV shows or movies. It can also help, when you watch something with translated subtitles, to pause as soon as someone starts talking, read the subtitle, and try to predict what they're about to say in the original language.
