Does this sound natural in English?

"The gang were arrested and they were taken to the police station. They were sent to the jail. They made a plan to escape from the jail. They succeed in escaping from the jail. John didn't want to thief any more. He wanted to leave the woods. They refused to let him go and they convinced him to stay. One girl of the gang fell in love with John. She told him that she was knowing that his father was alive. She wanted to help him to find his father and broke up the gang. He managed to find his father. When he went to see him, he know that he has cancer in the blood. John wanted to stay the rest of his life with his father. "

You don’t need to repeat words so much since it is already implied. Here is a correction:

“The gang was arrested and taken to the police station. They were later admitted into the jail. The gang made a plan to escape. They successfully escaped the jail. John didn’t want to be a thief anymore. He wanted to leave the woods. They refused to let him go and convinced him to stay. One girl of the gang fell in love with John. She told him she knew that his father was alive. She wanted to help him find his father and break up the gang. He managed to find his father. When he went to see him, he had cancer in his blood (leukemia). John wanted to stay with his father for the rest of his life.”


(I am not sure what you mean by some sentences. Such as “leaving the woods.” it doesn’t really make sense. You also may want to work on using commas more since the sentences seem short and incomplete! Very good for a beginner though! :) Hope this helped.
