if its monday you still say B
you only use A if youre asking someone what they are going to be doing on the weekend thats coming up
like if it is tuesday, 11/10 and you ask what are you doing this weekend? you are asking them what are they doing on saturday 11/14 and sunday 11/15.
'this weekend' is future tense
and 'last weekend' means the weekend during the week before the current day you are in

@jewelzz20 OK. I thought the weekend that just finished is really close to Monday, so I thought I could still say "this", but using "last weekend" makes perfect sense 😁.
