@Goodyuqing “My first word” typically means the first word that the person said as a baby. However I would then expect it to be “whose first word was” instead of “whose first word is”

I have no idea what that could possibly mean other than the literal translation. Does "first word" mean something special in context there?

@svejk i found the sentence on the introduction page of my English grammar book. it was there to introduce the writer and i didn't understand what it could mean...
