for me, the first is more natural. But I think they are both pretty natural, just depends on the individual.

@uisce_earraigh Thank you. Do both of these sound natural?
1. Among the four seasons, I like summer best.
2. I like summer best among the four seasons.

2. I like summer best among the four seasons.

@studiousboy no problem. I was looking at that question, but for me, I wouldn't usually use the word "among". I would say
"Out of the four seasons, I like summer best."
or
"I like summer best out of the four seasons."
To me, both of these sentences are natural. And not using "among" is just a preference of mine, but it doesn't sound strange, just maybe a bit formal to some people.

@uisce_earraigh Ok. What about “from”?
1. From the four seasons, I like summer best.
2. I like summer best from the four seasons.

2. I like summer best from the four seasons.

@studiousboy I don't think "from" is a good choice either. You can just say "of".
"of the four seasons, I like summer best"

@uisce_earraigh Ok. Do you think “of” can be used in the middle of the sentence?
I like summer best *of* the four seasons.
I like summer best *of* the four seasons.

@studiousboy Yeah, i think it can be used that way, but that sentence sounds a little unnatural to me, but I can't say why. I would say
"I think summer is the best of the four seasons."
This sounds more natural to me, just because I have a tendency to word things a certain way.

@uisce_earraigh Thank you! Aside from “of” and “out of”, could you think of some other words that would sound natural in this sentence?
I like summer best ____ the four seasons.
I like summer best ____ the four seasons.

@studiousboy Honestly, other than the words we've already discussed, I can't think of any others that would work here.🤔🧐
