I’ve been studying English for more than 20 years. It’s still challenging for me, though.

I know it takes quite a long time to learn a new language. Especially when two languages are completely different like Japanese and English.

I studied abroad in the States about 20 years ago. There was no youtube or apps like this back then, so I wasn’t familiar with slangs or everyday conversational phrases.

Currently, I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube videos or drama in English to learn new words and phrases.
