「が」は大きく分けて二つの用法があります。
①格助詞
②接続助詞
この文の「が」は①です。格助詞の「が」は名詞に付いて、その名詞が主語であることを示します。この文の場合は、「どちら」が主語になる疑問文になります。
例）
誰が食べましたか？
私が食べました。
何が好きですか？
読書が好きです。
