上記の使役形は助詞「を」を使っていますね。
しかし、他の例文
「息子に空港まで送らせました。」
この例文は「に」ですね。「を」を使ったら誰かに息子を送らせるという意味になりますね。
そうだとしたら、最初の例文の助詞「を」を「に」に置き換えるのはどうでしょうか？
