Без контекста непонятно, о чём ты спрашивешь. Мы можем говорить "a calculator" или "the calculator". Например "There is a calculator on the desk" (На столе калькулятор)

I'm pretty sure the author of the question means the names of applications on your phone. So, the calculator app on your phone doesn't say "the calculator" or "a calculator," but just "calculator."
