Question about English (US)
Hello! I’m reading a book called "Born to fight" by mark hunt.
"My memories of places and people started to form when we four kids were shipped off from our one-bed room place in the Auckland suburb of Mount Eden to Savai’i to live with my dad’s brother and his wife when I was maybe four or five."
I almost got it, but I didn’t understand this part → "our one-bed room (that?)place in the Auckland suburb of Mount Eden"
I guess…."that" is in hiding between room and place.
And I think that Mount Eden is located to the Auckland suburb. So it’s like "New Zealand→ Auckland→ Mount Eden(=Auckland suburb) →bedroom".
But I don’t know the meaning of "of".
Auckland suburb? Or…..suburb of Mount Eden?

"our one-bedroom place" is a house with one bedroom that Mark lived in when he was young. "our place" means "our house" or "our home". It was located in Mount Eden. Mount Eden is the name of a suburb of a large city named Auckland.

原文を見たら、「...one-bedroom place...」と言っています。「Bedroom」は一語で、二語ではありません。そこで「That」が入られません。
I found the original text, and it's “...one-bedroom place...” “Bedroom” is one word, not two. “That” doesn't go there.
「Auckland suburb of Mount Eden」については、「of」に特別な意味ではありません。あなたの母国語では、もっとわかりやすいかもしれません。「エデン山のオークランド郊外」。「山や谷などの都市や街」と言っているのと変わりはありません。
As for “Auckland suburb of Mount Eden,” “of” has no special meaning. It might become clearer in your native language: “エデン山のオークランド郊外.” It's no different than saying “the city/town of the mountain/valley/etc.”

"our one bedroom place" means "a house with one bedroom that they lived in"? "place" means "house"?
