@DoHyun_Kim :)
"I want that уоu continue tо bе thе gооd person уоu аrе, саpаblе of touching lives with bеаutiful аnd соurаgеоus dееds."
Could you please tell me how to write it in a more beautiful way?

앞으로도 지금처럼 계속, 아름다고 용기있는 행동으로 많은 이들에게 감동을 주는 사람으로 지내주셨으면 좋겠어요.

@DoHyun_Kim 정말 감사합니다!
Is it also correct to write "..좋은 사람으로.." ("I want that u continue tо bе thе gооd person u аrе..)?
It sounds better without "좋은", right?

no, you're right. it does sound a bit better with the "좋은". Let's use that as an icing on the cake.

@DoHyun_Kim Thank you so much!
But one person said that "this expression can offend the listener if the listener is Korean"
Is it true?

No problem:)
Really? Which one do you mean? I just went to the top of the page and read through our conversation but none of our words was any near being offensive.

That’s my translation!
Nay, as a native that’s never near sounding offensive. But I understand you have your doubt because of your friend. So I wanna suggest you take my words and post to ask people at HiNative see if that sounds natural and respectful or otherwise? I wouldn’t don’t mind it:) actually I’d rather like you to do that 😐

"this expression can offend the listener if the listener is Korean. That's because the expression seems to force the listener to be the person the speaker wants."
It's not about translation. Because in English it sounds the same

HAHA ah ok. Well I gotta say that’s a very interesting way to see this 😆 but I am not going to say it’s a fair point though:) because her point is like accuse someone of being somewhat forceful when he/she say “I hope you’re doing well”. When you hear that, how we understand that is someone is wishing my well-being, right? You don’t say he/she is forcing me into a certain way😂 “~한 모습으로or사람으로 지내주셨으면 좋겠습니다” is exactly like that “I hope you are doing well” :) So, in a way I would even say it’s an idiom.
In conclusion, nope. That remark contains 0 ounce of offensive or forcing connotation.
I will see if there any video where a native Korean using those exact words to show you. But not now, maybe tmr;)

Go to google and search
<“지내주셨으면 좋겠습니다“> and make sure you include quotes too. This way you will see all the search results that include those exact words.
